WHO WE ARE

Vivid Design is a Toronto-based creative design and development company. We are an agile design group with a unique artistic and professional approach incorporating visual communication and presentation, strategic design and consumer psychology.
We provide services for every phase of brand creation and management. A successful branding, beginning with how the brand owner perceives the world; manifesting itself with style, philosophy and structure by which the business is conducted and finally; in the way customers are handled, creates: Novelty and Loyalty. And this is our premise.

Our capabilities include, but are not limited to, corporate identity, advertising/print materials, web design and development, internet/social media marketing, illustration and photography/photography enhancement.
These capabilities rely on two pillars:  A high degree of technical expertise and a sine qua none creativity.

BIOGRAPHIES

Our team consists of two lead players. Perhaps it might sound too small, but in today’s world we find it that it is not a big surprise new information designers (as we like to call ourselves) acquire an array of skill sets and titles. In accord with each unique projects' needs, we interchangeably undertake the roles of an information system engineer, web developer, graphic designer and creative producer. NORMAN C. VALDEZ (MISt, BA) - Project Director

With 10 years of experience in designing websites and working in the print industry he is what some may call a ‘hybrid’ designer. Today’s world of media design mandates that all aspects of design revolve around a single concept. With this in mind, Norman has been upgrading his skills by completing his H.B.A. in digital communications at the University of Toronto. He also possesses a degree in Professional Writing. Following, he received his M.A. in Information Systems in the same university. Together with knowledge in information architecture, information systems and design theory, he is a well-rounded, passionate designer.

DUYGU BASMACI (MISt, BSc, BEng) - Creative Director

An information systems engineer, she graduated from both State University of New York and Istanbul Technical University with a special dual-diploma degree retrieving her B. Eng. and B. Sc. as a top tier student. She possesses a significant understanding of management of information systems, software programming and design. Duygu brings the technical skill set from having studied in one of the best computer engineering programs in the United States, as well as the experience of being a former employee of IBM and SAP. In addition, as a former ballet dancer, pianist and aspiring photographer, she brings an exclusive approach to her position. She also completed her M.A. at the University of Toronto in Information Systems.
